In Partnership with the Southern Weekend

The Shreveport Aquarium is the place to BELIEVE this season

With 2021 being such a drag, the elves at the Shreveport Aquarium will make you believe once again with their interactive Christmas celebration called BELIEVE! It’s the second year of Christmas magic and tickets go on sale November 1st!

From November 26th through December 23rd, visit the magical wonderland searching for clues left by Santa Claus. Enter through the Gingerbread lobby and pick up a motion-activated wand. This wand helps you along your journey through stocking central, reindeer stable,s a star factory, and many more interactive exhibits with the aquarium. You can also use your magic wand to turn on lights, create music, light a fireplace and most importantly find out if you’re on Santa’s naughty or nice list.

While seeing all of the fish and marine life, make sure to stroll down the Christmas Tree Lane. Local businesses decorated several Christmas trees. Vote for your favorite. While you are there, take your holiday photo amongst the decorations and you might get a shark in the background.

Did we mention the cookies and hot cocoa? Enjoy those while making your own ornament. Santa will also be there in his magical workshop.

BELIEVE Lights the Night!

Tickets are limited and will sell out! So don’t waste time and buy your ticket ASAP.

On Friday and Saturday evenings, the night will light up outside and inside the aquarium. Watch outside to see Christmas lights synchronized to your favorite Christmas music on 88.9FM. Inside meet costumed characters like an ice queen, elves and maybe the Grinch. Make a take home ornament. Use your wand to play music, grow the Grinch’s heart and more. At the end of your journey, meet the big man himself in his workshop. Get a clever socially distant photo op with Santa! Kids get a special BELIEVE gift along with hot cocoa and a cookie.

Purchase tickets on their website. Enjoy the magic of Christmas at BELIEVE at the Shreveport Aquarium, 601 Clyde Fant Parkway in Downtown Shreveport.
