Fresh veggies and more are coming into season and despite the Coronavirus pandemic, the Bossier City Farmers Market plans to bring the best growers, arts & crafts makers and more to one location and you won’t have to get out of your car to enjoy it. Starting at 9:00 am on Saturday, make the drive to Pierre Bossier Mall in Bossier City and walk around the market.
Earlier in the season, it was drive-thru only. There were two lanes of one-way traffic with vendors on either side.
Now you can walk along the rows of fruits, herbs, vegetables, meat and more homemade household products from over 75 vendors. Shop in a safe social distancing environment with public handwashing stations throughout the marketplace. In addition, feast on ready-to-go treats and eats like BBQ, jerky, shaved ice, fresh squeezed lemonade, pizza, fresh fruit smoothies and more.
The Bossier City Farmers Market will continue every Saturday from April 25 through November 21, 2020. For the latest info from vendors attending the market, follow the vendor group on Facebook.
