In Partnership with the Southern Weekend

Dinosaurs Roaming in Shreveport Convention Center Soon

In mid-September, Shreveport becomes home to over 100 dinosaurs. Well, at least they are life size animatronic dinos as Jurassic Quest opens up from September 17-19, 2021. Plan to go on an adventure at the Shreveport Convention Center and be surrounded by dinosaurs like Apatosaurus, Spinosaurus and more. They also mentioned a 50 foot Megalodon and a T-Rex.

Here are just a few things to experience…

  • Watch a live interactive show
  • Take a walk around with a dinosaur
  • Meet the ‘Trainers’
  • Science stations
  • Bounce house
  • Face painting
  • A giant fossil dig
  • Dinosaur rides

Tickets start at $18. They offer offpeak times at a discount. Offpeak hours are weekdays and after 3:00pm on the weekend.  To buy tickets and Quest Packs, click here. Police, military, medical personnel and first responders can save 10%.

Can’t wait until September? The dinosaurs will be in New Orleans in August before coming to the Shreveport Convention Center.

With the threat of Covid still around, Jurassic Quest will be working with the Shreveport Convention Center to “ensure the highest standards of safety and wellness when it comes to live experiences. Please check the venue website to review venue policies, including face covering and entry requirements, as restrictions ease.” See more about their policies here.
