The food industry and restaurants continue to produce new, exciting and sometimes crazy culinary concoctions to tease your tastebuds and this Christmas Time is no exception. We discovered these tempting treats coming to a grocery store and restaurant near you.
Kellogg’s Narwhal Waffles
Joining the existing Unicorn, Mermaid and Birthday Cake Waffles, the Kellogg’s Narwhal Frozen Waffles look blue but taste like raspberries. You can order them now at Walmarts.
Pepsi x Cracker Jack
Only 2,000 cans of this soft-drink-meets-snack-food mashup will be given away. And yes, there is a prize (temporary tattoo) along the side of the can. In order to score a can, you must post a video of you singing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” and post it to Twitter and Tik Tok. You must use the hashtags #PepsiSingToScore and #Sweepstakes to enter. Read more about it here.
Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes Ice Cream
If you can’t get enough of the vanilla holiday cakes shaped like Christmas Trees with creme filling with festive icing, it’s now coming out in a vanilla ice cream. You can only find these one pint ice creams at Walmart starting on November 1, 2021 and it disappears around Christmas.
McDonald’s continues its testing of a plant based burger by releasing the McPlant in eight select markets in November. The patty is made from plant-based ingredients like peas, rice and potatoes. None of the McDonald’s in the Ark-La-Tex offer it but there are four restaurants within a day’s drive: in Louisiana head to Lake Charles and Jennings and in Texas stop in Irving and Carrollton.
