Country chique and pigs that squeek at the Sabine River Swap

The Sabine River Swap is a farmers market type event where local small farmers and business owners set up to sell or advertise their goods. This is the 4th event this year and with each event the list of vendors and attendees has grown immensely.

This next event will be Saturday, September 28th from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Find the swap at 108 N. 2nd Street in Logansport, La.

This month at the Sabine River Swap Meet you can expect to see around 50 vendors. There will be all kinds of farm animals including piglets, chickens, ducks, geese, turkey, quail, goats, sheep, rabbits, puppies, bottle calves and possibly a pony. You can also purchase squares for $1 each at chicken bingo for a chance to win $100!

Lots of vendors bring handmade and homemade goods including: salsa, chili, baked goods, farm house decor, vintage furniture, wood carvings, handmade metal works, and much much more! Local favorite Big Zach will be in attendance selling fish, shrimp, boudin balls and alligator jalapeno poppers. Plus some good ole southern sweet tea to wash it all down.
