Back with a Boom! The Barksdale Air Show

After a crazy 2020, the popular Barksdale Air Show at is back! Mark your calendars for May 8 & 9.

This year’s show will be headlined by the Thunderbirds, with performances by “Tora, Tora, Tora!”, Shockwave jet truck, the F-22 Demo Team and Jeremy Holt. Other acts the audience can anticipate include the B-52, B-2, B-1, C-130, B-25 Devil Dog, and the USAFA Wings of Blue.

Gates will open to the Barksdale Defenders of Liberty Air & Space Show at 9:00 am both days and the show starts at 11:00 am. The show ends around 4:00 pm on both days.
Due to Covid the 2021 airshow will be drive-in style. You can watch the show from a designated space around your vehicle. Attendees must wear a face mask and stay within their designated space. You will need to download or print a free ticket, that will act as a pass for the air show. One ticket per vehicle. You can get tickets here.

Bring sunscreen. Food and drinks will not be available for purchase. Entry to the base will be at North Gate and West Gate. Large vehicles need to use the North Gate entrance. Vehicles are subject to be searched. Entry gates close at noon. Because of the huge crowds expected, officials encourage carpooling.

No weapons allowed as well as glass containers, grills, beach umbrellas/tents, alcohol, or Tabaco products.
