About

Robert Streeter — Ark-La-Tex Weekend Managing Editor

In the past ten years of living in the Ark-La-Tex, I’ve heard a lot of  ‘What’s there to do here?’ or ‘There’s nothing to do.’ I’ve been surprised while creating television commercials for places around the area that there’s a LOT to do, eat, and experience. Now with Ark-La-Tex Weekend, I want to help get the word out about everything cool, fun, and exciting in Northeast Texas, Southwest Arkansas, and Northwest Louisiana.

A little bit about me… Chocoholic. Foodie that loves to try new restaurants. A Roster Artist on the Northwest Louisiana Artist Directory. I’ve worked with the Shreveport Regional Arts Council and Shreveport Common. One of my great accomplishments is a literary artist for the Shreveport Common app. Download it from Google Play or Apple App Store. Before taking on Ark-La-Tex Weekend I was the Commercial Producer and Creative Director at KSLA News 12. I’m getting more and more into photography. I have been awarded Grand Champion at the State Fair of Louisiana twice. See my work here.

It’s all about the weekend! Enjoy it!

Matthew Banks — Content Producer

Born in Laredo, TX but lived most of life in Shreveport/Bossier Louisiana area because my father was stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base. I love the South because of the food! My favorite meal is pork chops with mash potatoes and green beans with a cup of sweet tea. Oh, I can not forget about dessert with sweet potato pie. I work as a News Content Specialists and I love producing stories on what is going on in the weekend here is in Louisiana especially dancing, new films coming into town, or events that can bring the family together.

Jeff Dillard — Content Producer

I was born and raised in Bossier City, but relocated to DeSoto Parish around 10 years ago. I focus on eating healthy (Low Carb & Paleo) even when dining out. My motto is “Just because it is healthy doesn’t mean it has to taste healthy!”. I love to cover community events especially when there is food involved. I’m also a theatre fanatic and absolutely love small, cozy productions.

Dominique O'Neill — Content Producer

I’m originally from Columbus, Ohio. I’m a running fanatic. I started working as a News Content Specialist at KSLA this year. I like to eat seafood. I like to volunteer in the community and give back to those less fortunate. One of my favorite seafood restaurants is Red Lobster. In addition to good food, I like to explore and travel. My favorite sport to watch is basketball.

Tori Thomas — Content Producer

I was born in Bossier City, Louisiana but grew up in the city of Shreveport. I went to Eden Gardens Elementary, Caddo Middle Magnet and C.E. Byrd high school until my junior year before transferring out of state due to my father’s military career.  I have been working at KSLA News 12 for the past year as a morning show/ weekend producer. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Radio, Television and Film from The University of North Texas and I am currently pursuing my Masters degree at Louisiana State University here in Shreveport. I have a strong passion for documentary film making and my future goals include opening up my own video production agency where I am free to document people’s unique stories. Ava Duvernay is one of the few black women in the film industry that I look up to. Seafood is my favorite type of food, I can never say no to a piece of strawberry cake and I own a Maltese named Brox and a Malti-Poo named Bella.   I enjoy editing fun, entertaining and uplifting videos for Ark-La-Tex Weekend for our viewers to enjoy across the Ark-La-Tex.

Jeffrey Goodwin — Content Producer - KSLA Creative Director

I was born and raised in Texas and moved to Shreveport to be the Creative Director at KSLA. While my unconditional love for Texas will never die, upon moving here I immediately fell in love with this unique city, the local culture, and the wonderful flavors of Louisiana. When I’m not working, I can usually be found at estate sales or in my kitchen trying some new recipe. I have two black cats, Rhiannon and Morgana, who are always getting into some kind of mischief.
