Cowboy Fast Draw Association State Championship

8:30 – 3:00 p.m. (Open 4/9-4.11)

Watch the best of the best compete in the Old West talent of ‘Fast Draw.’ Adults and kids are welcome to view this exciting event in it’s inaugural season in Shreveport.

Four States Fair & Rodeo

Bossier Arts Council Exhibition Openings

Bourbon and Barbecue Festival

3:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Check out the first-ever Bourbon and Barbecue Festival and try the best of both that Shreveport has to offer! Try tasty, local BBQ from the best grill masters in the ArkLaTex. There will also be 16 competitors, 8 cocktail artists and 8 pitmasters facing off for the People’s Choice title and $1500!

Story Trail Crafts & Activities

10:00 – 11:50 a.m.

Walk the trail and stop in at the Education Center to meet the staff from the Bossier Parish Libraries for a craft and activity that reflects the theme of the the book from the story trail.

The Mountain that Loved a Bird
