Fall is finally here and we found these fun things to do all across our area. It would be a good weekend to get out and explore (while maintaining the social distancing)!


Hi Way 80 Sale

8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Over 40 vendors in one place selling all sorts of vintage, antiques, baked goods and more. The sale happens Thursday through Sunday. For more info, follow the event on Facebook.

Modern in Motion VIII

6:00 pm

The Northwestern State University Theatre and Dance along with the Natchitoches Historic District Development Commission presents this annual dance presentation. Tickets are available through donation and you can see the recital Saturday afternoon and evening as well. For more info, click here.

Bossier City Makers Fair

10:00 am – 6:00 pm

Local makers, artists and handmade crafters converge on the Louisiana Boardwalk for a day of fun things to do and see. For more info, follow the event on Facebook.

SBC Zombie Walk – Park Your Parts: Film Frights Movie Night

6:00 pm – 11:00 pm

The East Bank District becomes ground zero for zombies!!! Instead of a zombie walk, the Bossier Arts Council hosting this fundraiser with two zombie films, Scooby Doo on Zombie Island and World War Z. For reservations and to learn more at our story.

Texas Sounds International Country Music Awards

6:00 pm

Country music groups from around the world and here in Texas come together for this weekend long extravaganza. It will be a good mix of live and virtual performances. You can watch online but a limited number (due to Covid-19) seats may be available. Check out more here.

Hitchcock On the Lawn Halloween Movie & Costume Party

6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Suspense is building for this event. See the Alfred Hitchcock classic Rear Window. Dress up as your favorite character from a Hitchcock film. Come as a character from the film and you could win a special prize. Reserve tickets by Oct. 16 here.

46th Annual Arts & Crafts Festival

10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Exhibitors showcase their wares underneath the impressive live oak trees. See over 50 artists from paintings, photography and more outdoors. You can also visit on Saturday. For more info, click here.
