Acting for the Ages Staged Reading See what some senior citizens have been working on with a new project (Mahogany Ensemble Theatre)

SHREVEPORT, La. (Ark-La-Tex Weekend) - The Mahogany Ensemble Theatre along with the Shreveport Regional Arts Council (SRAC) and the AmeriCorps Seniors (SUSLA) Caddo/Bossier/DeSoto Foster Grandparent Volunteer Program presents “Crowning Glory” on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Noon. Come by the SRAC Central Artstation Engine Room at 801 Crockett Street in downtown Shreveport for this stage reading about faith and fashion.

The Mahogany Ensemble Theatre created an eight week theatre program to focus “on senior citizens using the arts to improve the quality of life through creative expression and socialization.” It’s called Acting for the Ages and this reading is the first production for the program.
