Cinco de Mayo fiestas and events

(Ark-La-Tex Weekend) - It’s a day to celebrate Mexican heritage and culture. Cinco de Mayo (May 5) commemorates a historic battle and victory over the French in 1862. Many Tex-Mex and Mexican restaurants will be having specials and events during the day.

Cinco de Mayo Pool Party - May 5th at 6 p.m. - The Sportsplex by Healthcare Express

Texarkana Farmers Market - Cinco de Mayo party will be on May 6 from 7 a.m. - Noon. Downtown Texarkana

Cinco de Mayo Party - May 6th from Noon - 4 p.m. Texarkana Harley-Davisdon

Sacred Heart Catholic Church - Cinco de Mayo festivities will be on May 7 from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. 4505 Elizabeth St.

Taco Wars - May 5th at 4 p.m.

Mount Pleasant

8th Annual Cinco de Mayo - The festival will take place on May 6 at Noon. Fair Park

Longview

Longview Arboretum Cinco de Mayo – The party will be on May 5 starting at 6 p.m. Longview Arboretum

Shreveport-Bossier

Murder at the Cinco de Mayo Fiesta - May 5th and 6th at 6 p.m. - Dixie Maze Farms
