GALVESTON, Tex. (Ark-La-Tex Weekend) - Spring and summer are great times to visit Moody Gardens. This year, the Galveston icon unveils new attractions. Learn the truth and facts about sharks at Sharks in Depth. See how they sense prey through vibrations and more about their behavior with a lot of hands-on activities. Find this exhibit in the Discovery Pyramid.

Also new this year is the 3D film, Secrets of the Deep. Go on a journey underwater to see some of the most colorful, strangest and most spectacular creatures living in the sea. Discover the importance of marine biodiversity keeping our oceans healthy.

Another new section for the spring and summer is Dinos Alive! Snap a selfie with all sorts of full-size, life-like animatronic dinosaurs. It’s a trip back in time you won’t soon forget.

Don’t worry, you can still wander the Rainforest Pyramid to see all sorts of wildlife and plant life and the Aquarium Pyramid.

Bring the clubs with you this spring and summer. The Moody Gardens Golf Course has been ranked number four in the state of Texas by Golfer’s Choice. Designed by Jacobsen Hardy, this course features an outstanding Paspalum turf and spectacular views.
