The Big Game Show | 6:30pm | Riverview Theatre
The two teams coming to the Independence Bowl will first face off in game show-style competitions. The audience gets to participate as well. Free admission.
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 21, 2022
FCA Breakfast | 7:30am | Shreveport Convention Center
The annual breakfast is highlighted by featured speakers giving their personal testimonies. Hosted by the Northwest Louisiana Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Tickets are $10.
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 22, 2022
Rally on the Red | 6:30pm | Louisiana Boardwalk Outlets and East Bank District
A Mardi Gras Preview Parade rolls through the Louisiana Boardwalk Outlets starting at 6:30pm. Local schools will be marching along side local Mardi Gras Krewe floats. The parade marches from the Boardwalk to the East Bank District for the Battle of the Bands. The two university marching bands square off to see who is the best during the pep rally. Fireworks light up the sky at 7:45pm behind Hurricane Alley (behind BeauJax Crafthouse). Lastly, stay for the concert by Baton Rouge country band Parish County Line. The Rally on the Red events are free to attend.

Coca-Cola Fan Fest |10:30am - 1:00pm | Northeast gate of the Independence Bowl
It’s one of the most fun pre-game events of any bowl game. Stop by the Silver Lot for cornhole, inflatables, food, drinks and more fun. The ESPN Events Tailgate Tour will be on site with more food, prizes and entertainment.
The big game kicks off at 2:00pm between the Houston Cougars and the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns. For tickets, click here.
