Contained 4 art exhibition being held at Bossier Arts Council

Local art in 12x12 and 4x4 sizes

Bossier City, Louisiana — BOSSIER CITY, La. (Ark-La-Tex Weekend) - Celebrating their fourth year of the Contained show, Bossier Arts Council (BAC) is adding a twist.

On Oct. 7, the Contained art show is returning for its fourth year with its opening reception, starting from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. To celebrate, BAC is giving the show a bit of a twist. Instead of just 12x12 sized pieces of art, artists will also be showing 4x4 size art.

Contained is a show to test artists’ skills and how well they are able to handle working within the boundaries of a small canvas.

The sizes will be separated with the East Bank Gallery will be showing the 12x12′s on display and the Emerging Gallery will display the 4x4s.

All works will be sold for $50 for the 12x12 pieces and $25 for the 4x4 pieces.

Contained 4 will be on display in both galleries from Oct. 4 until Nov. 29.
