SHREVEPORT, La. (Ark-La-Tex Weekend) - It’s not too hot out. It’s not too cold out. So it’s the perfect time of year for festivals. Click on the name of the event to be taken to their website. If you know of a festival coming up, let us know and we’ll add it to the Fall Festival Guide.

SBC Glo Fest

September 2

Cane River Zydeco Festival

You’ll be dancing all afternoon and evening along the bank.

Mudstock

It’s one of the biggest ATV/UTV riding parties in the country. Time to get down and dirty for some good, clean fun. A concert featuring Seth Bradford is on Friday night and fireworks are on Saturday.

43rd Pioneer Heritage Festival

33rd Annual Louisiana Chicken Festival

37th Annual Red River County Historical Society Fall Bazaar

46th Annual East Texas Poultry Festival

Heritage & Harvest Tour

Take a day and tour north Caddo Parish to see the towns along Highway 71 and Highway 3049. Visit Ida, Mira, Hosston, Gilliam, Belcher and Dixie.

Lumberjack Festival

Since 1984, people who attend this festival get a little “Jack Pride.” It’s a celebration of the timber industry that surrounds Springhill. There’ll be a auto and cycle show, parade, concert and more.

40th Annual Fire Ant Festival

96th Annual Natchitoches Christmas Festival

November 19 - January 6

There will over 300,000 lights along the Cane River Lake and Historic Downtown Landmark District! Plus lots of concerts throughout the season and good holiday shopping. The main event is on December 3.
