SHREVEPORT, La. (Ark-La-Tex Weekend) - Taco Bell has recently come under fire (not the sauce) for getting rid of several fan favorite foods. Recently they brought back the Mexican Pizza very publicly. What hasn’t been widely known is that another popular burrito has returned to their online and mobile app platforms. The Chili Cheese Burrito (also known as CC-Bur) is back! The simple burrito is made of seasoned beef and cheese wrapped in their flour tortilla.
There’s even a Chili Cheese Burrito fan site that has been keeping track of where you can find these tasty treats. According to them, they are not available nationwide yet. You can check out their map.
Around the Ark-La-Tex, you can order the CC Burs at Shreveport-Bossier locations, Minden, Springhill, Texarkana (on West 7th St.), Marshall, and Carthage.
Back in the day (late 1990s) the burrito cost you 99 cents. Now, unfortunately, it’s $2.59 plus tax.
We’re wondering what else may be making a comeback. Maybe Meximelts (please!) or Enchiritos or Taco Bellgrandes?
