Big news for Smalls Sliders - Opening soon in Shreveport

SHREVEPORT, La. (Ark-La-Tex Weekend) - What used to be an old church lot on Youree Drive is getting overhauled. A sign recently popped up on the 6000 block of Youree declaring that Baton Rouge based Smalls Sliders will be opening soon. This marks the planned expansion outside of Louisiana’s state capital for of the small drive-thru and walk-up locations. Walk-On’s Founder Brandon Larry and former New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees are backing this chain.

Smalls Sliders offers a very basic menu: a cheeseburger slider with steamy buns, beef patty, cheese, pickles and their Smauce, waffle fries, soft drinks and milkshakes. You can also order queso and bacon as sides. For those with a little bit more hunger, you can double the meat and cheese when you request a Biggie Smalls. The milkshake flavors are vanilla, chocolate as well as Cookies & Cream.

Hopefully some time this summer, you can get your fix of sliders at this new restaurant.
