BOSSIER CITY, La. (Ark-La-Tex Weekend) -
The Bossier Civic Center transforms on February 18-20, 2022 into the inaugural SBC Comic Con. All weekend long meet stars of stage, screen and the ring. Appearing this year will be Michael Biehn (The Terminator, The Mandalorian, Tombstone) as well as wrestling legend Sting. Also coming to the event will be two Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Walter Jones and Austin St. John) as well as Judith Hoag (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and Jennifer Blanc-Biehn (Dark Angel). Voice actors Bryce Papenbrook (My Hero Academia), Monica Rial (Dragon Ball), Christopher Wehkamp (Attack on Titan) are scheduled to be available to meet and greet. Check out the incredible artwork by comic book author and illustrators including Shreveport’s own Greg Burnham.
Cosplay is encouraged and see the best at the Costume Contest Friday night and late Saturday afternoon. For details on the costume contest, click here. You can also meet several cosplay artists at the SBC Comic Con.
Little super heroes will have a blast in the Kids Fest zone with lots of fun activities. Older kids and adults can reminisce about the good ole’ days at the old school arcade. Play a couple of games from the 80s and 90s for free. For those more daring, play in the Nerf battle maze.
