SHREVEPORT, La. (Ark-La-Tex Weekend) - Cookie B’s Smoothies and More opened in downtown Shreveport in early February 2022. In September 2022, she moved to a new location at 2030 Line Avenue. Owner Kira McKnight loves to serve smoothie drinks in her no-waste, freeze-dried smoothie destination. She uses so many different natural and delicious flavors, you’ll forget that these are super healthy beverages.
One of Kira’s favorites (besides Hawaiian Harvest) is the Cracker Jax. She blends almond milk, peanut butter/PB Lite, rolled oats, whey protein, sea salt caramel powder and ice together. After a quick blitz in the blender, it’s ready for your enjoyment. Kira also suggests mixing in some organic sandwich cookies. She credits the creations of the Cracker Jax to her two amazing kids. They like not only eating food from a box but enjoys drinking it. So Kira figured out how to re-create the flavor of the caramel popcorn in liquid form. “When you try it, you’re going to say the same thing. I promise,” she says.
Cookie B’s Smoothies and More can be found at 2030 Line Avenue. Stop by for a smoothie Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm. It was one of the newest places to open in downtown in 2022.
