Are you looking for a laugh in the Ark-La-Tex? Then, Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club is the perfect place to be. This comedy club is a great addition to Shreveport’s night life with new, live and local acts every weekend. This venue also hosts special appearances by national headliners. While there, you can enjoy drinks from the bar and order appetizers from their food menu. The club is open every Friday and Saturday, doors open at 8:00 p.m. and the show starts at 9:00 p.m. On Monday nights, the comedy club also offers “Words Over Lattes.” Visitors have a chance to enjoy live music, poetry, and spoken word. On Monday’s happy hour is from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Quinton Washington (Munchie) is the host, booking agent and talent manager of Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club. He says the club was created because of the surplus of talent in Shreveport. The Ark-La-Tex community was missing a venue for local talent to be featured and perfect their craft. Within a 200 mile radius laugh out loud comedy club is the only official comedy club in the Ark-La-Tex area. Munchie says when you come to the comedy club your sure to find something unique that you can’t find day to day or week to week.
We asked Munchie what are visitors first reaction when they enter the comedy club and he says “people always say I didn’t know Shreveport had a comedy club and they didn’t know Shreveport comedians were funny…they always come back and bring more of their friends next time they come.” This is a great place for a girl or guys night out or even a date night. Laughter bring all types of people together where you can sit back and relax and have a great time.
Quinn Echols, the owner of the club, says “I don’t think we had one person not leave the club without a smile or smirk on their face.” Echols ensures anyone who enters through the doors of his comedy club is sure to have a good time.
