Baseball Night at the Drive-In

River City Fest

7:00am-Midnight (Also Thursday & Friday)

From a color run to fireworks, the banks of the Sabine River and downtown Logansport will be filled of fun things to do, great food and good music. See the full schedule and more info here.

Lake Bistineau Paddle


Explore a beautiful part of Webster Parish. Bring a kayak, canoe or pirogue for a five mile paddling adventure. Rentals are available on a first come, first serve basis. Hang out after the paddle for a fish fry. For more info, click here.

Wild Wonders Saturdays


UnCommon Weekends in Caddo Common Park starts with exercise at 8:00am, aerobics at 9am, Zumbini at 10:00am and then meet live birds-of-prey at 11:00am. You can make and take a bird house and learn all about birds. Follow the event on Facebook for more info.

Railroad Day at the Museum

Shreveport Mudbugs vs. Lone Star Brahmas

It’s the last game of the regular season and the first place Mudbugs are taking on their arch enemy from Fort Worth. Take a break from the heat and watch the coolest game on ice. Purchase tickets here.

Historic Jefferson Train Show

11:00am-4:00pm (Also on Saturday from 10:00am-5:00pm)

See all sorts of model train layouts. Kids can play in the Kid’s Corral with Thomas the Train. Be introduced to the fun that is model trains. Plus see the R.D. Moses Texas & Pacific Model Railroad Museum. For more info, click here.

Running of the Hogs


This new event features great music, food, wine, local beers and mechanical bulls. Proceeds benefit families facing pediatric brain cancer. For more info, click here.

28th Annual Juried Student Exhibition
