In Partnership with the Southern Weekend

The Wienermobile and NUTmobile in the Ark-La-Tex this weekend

What are the odds that two famous vehicles (Wienermobile and NUTMobile) are in Shreveport and the Ark-La-Tex at the same time??? Apparently the odds are good for this weekend (October 24-26). The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile AND the Planters Peanut NUTMobile are making stops in Shreveport and Magnolia, Arkansas this weekend. These two vehicles get the most smiles per gallon of any vehicles out there and on Saturday, October 26, they come together.

Here’s where you can find both motoring vehicles this weekend.

NUTMobile – Walmart Supercenter (60 US. Hwy 79) in Magnolia, Ark. from 9:00am-1:00pm

Oscar Mayer Wienermobile – Shoppers Value Foods (6363 Hearne Ave.) in Shreveport from 10:00am-1:00pm

Oscar Mayer Wienermobile – Shoppers Value Foods (1867 Nelson Ave.) in Shreveport from 2:00pm-5:00pm

The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile

It’s a 27 foot long wiener on wheels. The first Wienermobile hit the roads in 1936. Nowadays, Hotdoggers (drivers) criss-cross the country in six vehicles (I wonder if they are Road Hot Hogs?)

The Planters Peanut NUTMobile

The first NUTMobile was built in 1935. It is also 27 feet long. Mr. Peanut has been known to pop out of the top hatch to wave at his fans.
