Start your holiday season off with a Mrs. Claus Cookie Pop. Here’s a recipe for making the perfect cookie pop.
- 12 wooden pop sticks
- 12 double stuffed Golden Oreo cookies
- 10 pink candy coating disks
- 2 packages white candy coating disks, divided
- Popped popcorn
- Black decorating icing
- Assorted holiday sprinkles
First start off by inserting a pop stick into each cookie. Next, place on a wax paper lined baking sheet. Next freeze until the cookies are soft.
Next, melt pink candy with 3 cups of white candy coating. Then stir until both are blended. Next, dip cookies in coating and reheat the coating as necessary.
Proceed to attach popcorn as buns for Mrs. Claus hair, then return to baking sheets and freeze for 30 minutes.
Next, be sure to melt the remaining white candy coating. Then proceed to dip popcorn and cookies in white coating for hair, then return to the baking sheets.
Next, Transfer black icing to pastry bag, then make eyes and eye glasses on cookies with the black icing. Add decorations of your choice and then serve Mrs. Claus cookie pops once their set at room temperature.
