Jimmy Lewis and the 8 Second Ride – 10:00 am

Born in El Dorado, Arkansas, in 1966, Jimmy has been around music his entire life. Many family and friends played music and would have “get-togethers” on weekends to play. He played drums and guitar for the family band from age 11 to 14. He never really was interested much until he was asked to sing one night at the family deer camp when he was 25. Jimmy was hooked, and some say, found his calling.

Jimmy has been in a number of bands and has played opry’s, bars and night clubs all over Texas, Arkansas and North Louisiana. Places like, Dumas Walker’s and Rockin’ PV’s in Haynesville, La, Heritage & Silverado Club’s in El Dorado, AR, MusicFest in El Dorado, and many more.

Jimmy has released 4 albums: Man In The Mirror, Already Gone, Don’t Bring The Cowboy Out In Me and his latest, Downtown Country.

Identity Crisis – NOON

Identity Crisis is a talented, high energy rock band from Louisiana. They play hits from today back to the great music of the ’80s & ’90s, blending them into a fast paced, thoroughly entertaining show! Opening concerts for major artists like Little Big Town, Diamond Rio, Clay Walker & Jamey Johnson has given them the experience needed to rock any size of audience.

Summer On The Square doesn’t end then. After the music, you can spend the day downtown and explore all that’s available within walking distance of Downtown El Dorado. Restaurants and boutiques line Union Square with many of them offering specials for the weekend. There will be plenty of Back to School sales going on. They’ll have all the items you need and none of the long lines you want to avoid!
