American Rose Center

Although The American Rose Center is undergoing a renovation, there are still plenty of places where you can go for photos. It’s a great place for that special picture. They do have a photo policy.

Betty Virginia Park

With wide open spaces, a playground, and the arches to frame those great Easter photos, Betty Virginia Park is a popular place for pics. Also, check out some of these other Shreveport parks.

Rocks on Clyde Fant Parkway

If you’ve driven along Clyde Fant Parkway in Shreveport, you’ve probably seen a few cars parked along side the road by the railroad bridge. There are quite a few boulders around a pond. This place is a favorite for photographers.

Beau Jardin

This spot is famous for the flora and waterfall. The steps have been the backdrop for everything from family pictures to senior pictures to marriage proposals and a whole lot more. With the flowers in bloom, it would make for great Easter photos.

Spring Lake Park

You’ll find plenty of places to snap that perfect Spring picture in the 145 acre park. Walk out on the lake or stand in front of the jet. You can even bring your dog out for Easter photos and let them play in the dog park.

Places that have a photography policy

Several places around the Ark-La-Tex have a photography policy that you need to be aware of. Some places do not allow photography on its ground. It’s best to check before you show up with a camera. Links to the policy have been included.
