St. Patrick’s Day DIY: Top Hat S’mores

Whip up this quick green snack and impress your friends!

These adorable Top Hat S’mores make a perfect St. Patrick’s Day snack. Whip up this quick green snack and impress your family and friends. Who knows…you might even find a leprechaun hiding nearby!

INGREDIENTS

1 bag of green and yellow candy melts (you can find them locally in party and craft stores)

1 box of your favorite chocolate chip cookies (we like Girl Scout Cookies if they’re in season)

1 c. gold or yellow sprinkles

DIRECTIONS

Using a double boiler, melt the candies until smooth. Dip each cookie into melted candy. Coat entire surface. Place on aluminum foil lined cookie sheet. Place marshmallow on a stick or toothpick and coat in candy. Place marshmallows on cookie sheet. Freeze for 15 minutes. Reheat leftover candy. Dip one end of the marshmallows again into melted candy. Then, dip into gold sprinkles to coat. Place sprinkle coated marshmallow on to the top of a cookie. Let the melted candy harden then serve these Top Hat S’mores.

If you want, you can add small chocolate squares or M&Ms to the gold trim for something extra. Place one on either side.
