The Coronavirus caused the cancellation of the 2020 South by Southwest (SXSW) festival, including the films. For those hoping to see the films, SXSW teamed up with Amazon to show the films on Amazon Prime Video from April 27 through May 6. See this one-time event in front of the Prime Video paywall; meaning you can watch the festival without paying for Prime Video! All you need is a free Amazon account.
The filmmakers in the 2020 SXSW lineup have the choice to participate. Those who allow their films into this screening receives a fee for streaming their film.
