Here's a list of states in the Ark-La-Tex participating in the upcoming sales tax holidays: listed in chronological order.

Oklahoma Bug


Friday, August 2 – Sunday, August 4

Arkansas Bug


Saturday, August 3 – Sunday, August 4

Shoppers have the opportunity to purchase certain school supplies and clothing free of state and local sales or use tax. School art supplies and school instructional materials are included.

Friday, August 9 – Sunday, August 11

Most clothing, footwear, school supplies and backpacks under $100 are eligible for the Sales Tax Holiday. You can purchase from a store in Texas or from an online or catalog seller doing business in Texas. For more details, click here.

Louisiana has no holidays where sales taxes will not be collected and will not have any until June 30, 2025 or unless the state legislature passes the holidays in future sessions.
