I guess the saying, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.” has surfaced at the Coca-Cola company. For the first time since 1985, New Coke is available for consumption.
For those who may not remember…
In 1985 Coca-Cola heavily promoted a new recipe for Coke. When the new recipe arrived on store shelves everyone pretty much revolted. 79 days after the launch, Coca-Cola Classic returned and the new recipe fell into history as one of the worst product launches in history.
Fast forward to today…
The hit Netfilx show “Stranger Things” launches its third season on July 4, 2019. The series takes place in mid-1985. So a marketing venture between Netfilx and Coca-Cola brings back the controversial beverage.

See what happened when our friends over at South Georgia Weekend tried New Coke.
Maybe New Coke will taste better in Milk Coke than Coca-Cola Classic.
