Local St. Patrick’s Day events

Everyone gets to be a little Irish on St. Patrick's Day. Every March 17, people celebrate the arrival of Saint Patrick and Christianity to Ireland. People wear green to honor the heritage and culture of the Irish. Historically, Lenten restrictions were lifted for this one day and that's why the consumption of alcohol is associated with St. Patrick's Day.
Here are some St. Patrick's Day events in the Ark-La-Tex happening on March 17. (And a few on March 15 and 16).
