All About Glamping

Molly McKinney learned that folks wanting to enjoy the outdoors and sleep under the stars can now do so in style

You might have heard of glamping but do you all about this new way to experience nature? While visiting Asheville, North Carolina, Molly McKinney learned that folks wanting to enjoy the outdoors and sleep under the stars can now do so in style. Time to go Glamping!

Basically, glamping is camping with glamorous additions. Several places like Ashville Glamping saves you the hassle of dragging a ton of gear with their own tents and buildings. One of their camps is a two story family dome with a corkscrew slide. With many of the basic necessities already taken care of, people can get to relaxing a bit quicker.

Many see it as the most posh and luxurious way to explore the outdoors. We’re talking hot tubs, king size beds and views that rival five-star resorts. Tent sizes start much larger than what you find in an outdoors store. Other residences includes cabins, Airstream trailers, treehouses, Western Wagons and Native American Tepees.

Since cabins can be considered part of glamping, there are several places in Northeast Texas, Southeast Oklahoma, Southwest Arkansas and Northwest Louisiana.
