Here's the path for the Krewe of Janus in West Monroe and Monroe
Parade Date: Saturday, February 15
Start Time: 6:00 pm
Krewe of Janus Parade Route: Starts on Natchitoches Street at I-20. Parade proceeds northeast to Trenton Street and turns left. Turns right on to the Lee Joyner Bridge and enters downtown Monroe. Turns right (southeast) on Walnut Street. Takes a left (northeast) on Washington Street and then a quick left (northwest) on to N. 2nd Street. The parade makes it final right turn (northeast) on to Louisville Avenue. The Janus parade route ends at Oliver Road.
About the Krewe…
Established in 1984, The Krewe of Janus parades through West Monroe and Monroe every year to promote tourism in the area. The Twin Cities’ Jaycees organized the parade and over 175,000 show up every year to witness this Mardi Gras tradition. For more information, visit their website.
