Hamburger Cookies that are soooo cute!

Cutest. Hamburgers. Ever.

Hamburger cookies at first may not sound appetizing but watch the video and you’ll want to make these cute little treasures for your next dessert.

1 box of Nilla Wafers (24 needed for this recipe)

6 drops of Green Food Coloring

Sesame Seeds

Red & Yellow Icing

½ c. Flaked or Shredded Coconut

1 box of Grasshopper Cookies

In a plastic bag, mix the green food coloring with the coconut. Seal the bag and mix the ingredients together. Do not completely mix together but have flakes with different intensities of green. Add honey and sesame seeds in separate piles on a plate. Take 12 of the Nilla Wafers and dip the tops of the wafers first into the honey. Second, dip the wafer into the sesame seeds. Bake the 12 wafers at 250° for 5 minutes. Voila! You now have the top of the Hamburger Cookie bun. Take the other 12 wafer cookies and turn them upside down. Layer each with yellow icing (mustard), a Grasshopper Cookie (the burger), and red icing (Ketchup). Then, sprinkle on the coconut (lettuce) and top with the cooled top wafer (sesame seed bun). Serve.

I bet when Girl Scout Cookie season comes around, you can substitute some Thin Mints.

Want to add some ‘bacon?’ Find a strawberry Fruit Roll Up. Cut into thin strips and crinkle it up.

Pickle fans can cut up a small kiwi fruit and add.

For a melted Provolone cheese effect, dollop on some plain or Vanilla greek yogurt.
