Modern in Motion VI

It’s a celebration of modern dance inspired by the architecture of the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame and Northwest Louisiana History Museum. Tickets are $10 per person. 4th Annual Louisiana Jet Rally

9:00am-4:00pm

The Shreveport Area Radio Kontrol Society (SHARKS) will host the jet rally. The competition will be sky high for bragging rights and prizes. Admission is free. For more information, check out their website.

Sharks in the Dark Sleepover

7:00pm-9:00am on Saturday

Spend the night, if you dare, with the sharks. The Shreveport Aquarium is hosting this family friendly night complete with pizza, smores, and breakfast included in the prices. For ages 6 and up. Tickets and info can be found on their website.

Scrawl Crawl – A Writing Marathon

Bossier City Makers Fair

This new makers fair will feature over 100 artisans spread out in 4 large groups. Find lots of good stuff from jewelry, clothing, art, and a lot more. There’ll be plenty of food and entertainment out there as well.

American Kitefliers Festival & Pioneer Day

11:00am-4:00pm

This free festival will be a part of the final day of kite flying exhibitions and the 2018 American Kitefliers Association National Convention. Admission is free to the festival where you can bring your own kite. Pioneer Day will be at the Pioneer Heritage Center at LSU-S. Admission is $2 to Pioneer Day. Click here for more info.

All Hallow’s Eve Cemetery Walk

Take a tour of the historic Oakland Cemetery this Friday and Saturday. Guides in period costumes will tell you all about the history. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children.
