Treat your taste buds to the flavors of the islands.
Ono’s Traditional Hawaiian Cuisine is truly one-of-a-kind when it comes to food trucks in Shreveport. They’ve been serving guests for over 2 years. Their fans follow them all over town in the quest for Pork Katsu (breaded pork loin), Teriyaki Chicken, Kalua Pork (Hawaiian-style pulled pork), Teriyaki Burger with Garlic Fries, and more. With the exception of the burger, the plates come with rice topped with a sweet teriyaki sauce and a salad. Sometimes they will present a pan seared garlic ahi tuna.
Ono’s success is paving the way for their brick and mortar restaurant. It’s opening soon on the corner of Gregg Avenue and Fern Avenue in Shreveport. In the meantime, follow where they will be setting up for lunch and dinner on their Facebook page. Be prepared for a line. You’ll be saying Mahalo (Thank you) to this food truck for the amount of food you will enjoy.
