It's a great place to find what's going on in Shreveport-Bossier
The Shreveport-Bossier Fun Guide is a joint project of the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau and the Shreveport Regional Arts Council. It is one of the most popular arts and culture calendars in Louisiana. The site is a great resource for discovering upcoming festivals, concerts, sporting events and more in Shreveport-Bossier area. You can search by date, date range, or event category like “Farmers’ Markets” and “Free Events.”
During certain times of the year, the Fun Guide goes all out. You can enter a contest for fantastic prizes including a weekend getaway on occasion. In the summertime, you can “Be a Fan of Shreveport-Bossier” and discover new places to eat during “318 Restaurant Week.”
“Since it’s free, the Fun Guide is an especially useful tool for anyone who needs to get the word out about an event, but may have very limited marketing resources,” said Chris Jay, Public Relations Manager for the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau. “And it’s also an easy way to find upcoming events in the community.”
Event organizers and promoters can submit their public events to the Fun Guide for free here. To be eligible for inclusion, events must occur in the 10-parish area of Northwest Louisiana which includes Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, DeSoto, Lincoln, Natchitoches, Red River, Sabine and Webster parishes. Submitting an event takes only a few minutes and access to a computer with an internet connection. The sooner you submit, the exposure your event will get.
You can find other fun things to do across the Ark-La-Tex on our Calendar page as well.
