Everything’s peachy at the Louisiana Peach Festival

There's not many things better than a Ruston Peach.

Get ready to experience the festival season in style. Mark your calendars, the 69th Louisiana Peach Festival starts June 21 and goes through June 22. The festival features weekend full of family fun. You don’t want to miss the Kids Fishing Tournament, it will kick things off at 8:00 am on June 21 in Lincoln Parish Park.

Once you done fishing take your skills and talent to Railroad Park. There will be a Peach eating contest for ages 17 and under, this will be held on the Railroad Park Stage at 5:15 pm. Headlining the music side of the festival, PeachStock Battle of the Bands.

Other things to explore or experience at this year’s festival include Peach Art Exhibit, Arts & Crafts Show, 5k Run/ Dawg Dash and don’t forget to attend the “A Peach in Time Parade”, it all begins at 9:00 am. The route starts at LA Tech and ends on Dan Reneau Dr.

The cost to attend for both days is $15. Admission is free on Friday from noon until 5:00 pm, then starting at 5:00 pm, admission is $10. For more information visit the Louisiana Peach Festival website.
