Break the Glass 2020

**The Event Has Been Postponed until April 30! It will still go on this year and the time and location is the same!

The Altered NWLA will be hosting their 3rd annual Break the Glass Event April 30th, 2020. The event will take place at The Remington Spa & Hotel in Downtown Shreveport from 6-9 p.m. The event is a night of celebration and empowerment. Altered’s class members will share their stories of struggles they face and how far they have come. It will be a night of fun as well as appreciation and growth. Each guest will have their own glass to write on and break on the roof top. This “breaking” moment gives power so you are encouraged to write something that is holding you back from being powerful and break it off your life.

Break The Glass

Altered NWLA is a non-profit organization that was founded by two women, Christy Johnston and Jeannette Sibley. These women started the organization because they shared a passion to empower young women in the community. This annual event is the largest fundraiser of the year for the organization. All of the proceeds will go directly to scholarship funds to enable Altered NWLA to sustain their mission for empowerment programs for young women in the community. The program provides interactive workshops that promote self awareness, self confidence, fining purpose, goal planning, financial literacy and many more. This program is open to young ladies of all walks of life and is FREE of charge. Watch this video here to see the impact this organization is making.
