An amazing Blackberry Cobbler recipe

Elevate your dessert game with this amazing blackberry cobbler.

It’s a southern dessert specialty. This blackberry cobbler recipe will be a great addition to your culinary team during the summer months.


1 stick butter

1 ½ c. sugar

6 c. blackberries

¼ c. cornstarch

¼ c. Cassis (blackberry) Liqueur

Pinch of salt

Pie dough


½ c. oatmeal

¼ c. flour

½ stick butter


Add butter to large saucepan and melt over medium-high heat. Add sugar and stir. Mix in the berries. In a separate bowl, combine cornstarch and Cassis to make a slurry. Mix slurry into berry mixture. Bring it to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and cook for 30 minutes.

Break off a palm sized piece of pie dough and shape into a ball. Place into a ramekin and spread the dough out until it covers the base and side. Bake at 375 for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.


Mix oatmeal, flour and butter together until you get a crumble consistency.

Cool berry mixture and crust. Once cool, add berries to ramekins until each is 3/4 full. Sprinkle the topping mixture on top. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Let them cool for a little bit then eat!
