UPDATE: The Shreveport Blues Festival has been postponed until April 2, 2021. Get ready to put on your derby hats and jam, as the 14th Annual Blues Festival is set to take center stage on August 7. Doors open at 7:00 pm. Musicians start performing at 8:00 pm.
The festival was scheduled for April of this year. However due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it will be rescheduled for the second weekend in August. This year’s festival features the likes of Jeter Jones, O.B Buchana and Melvia “Chick Rodgers-Williams and many more. The festival theme is “Blues is our name and having fun is our game”.
For those who already purchased tickets to the original show date, don’t worry the tickets are still valid for the show on April 2, 2021. Tickets are available at the Shreveport Convention Center Box Office and online at ticketmaster.com. You can purchase tickets at Shreveport Convention Center box office on Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Things to know before you go to this year’s Shreveport Blues Festival…
prohibited items inside the Municipal Auditorium include all professional cameras, recording devices, laptops, tablets and selfie sticks. Also no backpacks, briefcases or camera bags allowed inside the Auditorium.
